![]() ![]() ![]() Is there a way to get what I want to work with the Android TV Plex app, or is this a limitation on this platform I'm stuck with. I have to hit "OK" but like I said, it only plays one file at a time unless I start from the very top by pressing the play button at the top of the playlist. ![]() Pressing the Play/Pause button on the Shield TV remote doesn't start playback as it does in the Apple TV Plex App. I have made sure that I have the latest version of the Plex app installed. The only one that doesn't seem to work is the Plex Appl on the Shield TV Pro. Likewise, I can do the same with Plex for Roku, but Roku will also go to the next file in the list my pressing "OK", I don't have to use the play/pause button to get the Roku to automatically continue playback. It does not show under hidden apps or anywhere under 'android auto > customize launcher' when this happens: Here is the app info as well: I can force close the app and restart the phone to no avail. Plexamp seems to randomly disappear from my android auto. With the Apple TV Plex app, I can hit the play / pause button on the file in the playlist and it will automatically play the next file file from where I start in the list. First I dont know if this is an android auto issue or Plexamp issue. If I start from a file in the playlist, only that one file resumes, or plays, it doesn't automatically advance to the next file. Plex for Android Auto will be available in supported vehicles and aftermarket stereos (and on the Android Auto app) over the coming days. If I go into a playlist of videos, and click the play button at the top of the Playlist, the next file in the list automatically plays. Everything is working except one thing, and I can't tell if it's a bug, or a design of the Android TV Plex App. I bought a NVIDIA Shield TV Pro to use with Plex Media server so I can use audio passthrough.
